Business Viability Invest/Divest Study

The Board of a privately-held industrial concern raised questions about the viability of one of its portfolio companies, a maker of timing devices. The executive chairman believed there was an opportunity to grow the business, but needed independent verification. In response, we conducted a comprehensive assessment, including management evaluation, indepth customer feedback, brand study, and a review of future growth opportunities. The study validated a strong but neglected brand with multiple growth opportunities that had previously been dismissed or ignored. After a management change, the company is now growing robustly.
